Hi, I'm Whitney.
I'm 20-something, happily married, happily employed, and living in Florida with my husband and my dog. We're expecting our first child -- a sweet baby boy named Jackson -- in June 2013.
I grew up in TN, and sometimes I miss it. I love laughter, chocolate, and Jesus.
Other than that, all you need to know is - this blog is my journey of discovering what it means to be made by God, for God, and how to live like the loved, called and chosen daughter of the King that He says I am.

When the baby is kicking particularly hard.

My reaction is always like:
First of all, I completely blame Pinterest for this. Let’s just get that out there early.
- Being in total, continuous awe of God for the many ways He continues to surprise me
- Drinking a delicious cup of Bananas Foster coffee
- Intermittently scratching Buddy on the head
- Taking inventory of all of our current home decor
- Categorizing into my new home decor plan
- Room sketches with new decor
- Pricing and scheduling DIY projects
- Probably driving my husband crazy with this stuff when he gets home
- and maybe some laundry.
